Best Times to Visit Budapest

Budapest is a stunning city with plenty to offer, so you can pretty much visit anytime and have an amazing time. However, if you want to experience the city at its absolute best, then there are certain times of year when it’s particularly worth checking out. Spring and Autumn tend to be the most popular times, when the weather is mild and the streets are filled with blooming flowers. Summer can get quite hot, but it’s great if you’re looking for sunset strolls on the waterfront like Marlon Brando. Winter means snow-capped hillsides and Christmas markets – perfect for a cozy holiday getaway! Whichever season you choose, Budapest will definitely deliver on the good times! Especially cuz, I mean, you got one day anyways, like how much are you really tripping about the season?

Visiting Budapest from Vienna

Aight! If you’re looking for a bomb Budapest day trip from Vienna, you gotta do the science first. Luckily for you, I’m here. Now, of course, you can visit the Pest from elsewhere but for my lack of money, Vienna seems like the most popular tourist destination close to the Hungarian capital. Budapest is only a couple of hours away and there is so much to explore. I took the train for super cheap using a single ticket and it was smooth sailing!

I left from Wien Hauptbahnhof and booked in advance because I wanted to leave early in the morning. This was so I would have enough time to see the city on my tightass time schedule. The trains were even comfy with seats designed for nighttime slumberous glory. That’s on the set!
